HISTORY OF LOCAL 34
Our proud membership has been building the West since 1877. Pile Drivers are usually among the first workers to arrive on a construction site. Our members are some of the most skilled and well-rounded tradesmen and women in the West Coast. We represent Divers, Carpenters, Bridge, Wharf, & Dock Builders.
SAFETY
Safety of our membership is at the core of our trade. We look out for one another. Help train, protect, and promote our apprentices. We are a membership who prides themselves in training as it relates to job site safety. We handle and rig heavy material and machinery on a daily basis. Our rigging certification is vital along with OSHA certifications.
ORGANIZATION
Local 34 is a Joiner to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. Our Local covers 46 Counties in Northern California. Our membership reside all throughout the Northern part of the state including Nevada and Oregon. Are employers have the security of knowing that no matter where the project might be within our 46 counties, they will have a skilled workforce ready and willing to go to work.
